Few people know that founding father John Adams was an accomplished singer/songwriter. Here is one of his songs recently found that has an amazing 80s Pop/Ballad sound. /s

She gave me two wonderful songs

“Skateaway” by Dire Straits

“Take the long way home” by Supertramp

(Though I think the latter is 70s)

Then she ruined it when I asked her for a 70s song.
I got “Alone again naturally “

Much better than Simon and Garfunkel. Thanks for posting.  I heard this for the first time by Disturbed  a couple of years ago as I was pulling into the grocery store parking lot, and I was absolutely blown away!! It was the first time I had ever heard it and I couldn't turn it off and had to hear it in its entirety. I couldn't believe what an excellent, amazing, incredible rendition it is.  I went home and listened to it about a dozen times that day. 

Paul Simon even endorsed him!

@Suppressed  That was funny as heck... I had to find the backstory. Seems one band director got everyone to switch instruments to play this song. So some poor flute player was trying to play a trumpet ect... Tuba player trying to play an oboe. Awesome results.
