Miss Universe host says Trump stayed overnight in Moscow, contradicting what he told Comey

The host of the 2013 Miss Universe pageant confirmed that President Trump stayed overnight in Moscow the night before the pageant.

Thomas Roberts, a former NBC anchor, told the Daily Beast that he met Trump in Moscow on Nov. 8, 2013, and interviewed him the following day.

“The first time I met Donald Trump it was in Moscow on November 8th, 2013,” Roberts said. “I taped a sit-down interview with Trump the next day on November 9th. That was also the date for the Miss Universe broadcast.”

Okay, the story I heard today was that Trump denied staying the night in Moscow, before anyone asked he whether he did or not, and that is a bit weird.

The person making this claim is Comey, so there's that.
