Romney will 'wait and see' whether to support Trump in 2020
Fox News, Apr 23, 2018, Lukas Mikelionis

Former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney said he wants to see who runs for president in 2020 before committing to supporting President Donald Trump’s re-election bid.

“In terms of what happens in 2020, we’re going to wait and see who runs,” Romney, who is seeking Utah’s GOP nomination for Senate, told reporters Saturday. “If I had to make that decision today, I’d be missing the opportunity to find out what they’re going to do for Utah."

Hate to tell Mitt, but no one really cares whether he will support Trump in 2020.  And if Romney is thinking about being a presidential candidate in 2020, he should forget it.  No one outside of the Mormon faith would vote for him.

If Milt won the pseudo Primary this weekend, he would be bashing the hell out of Trump, but since he came in an embarrassing 2nd, he has to hedge his bets.

Yeah.  He owned or was head of a company that rapes dying companies for their assets.  At least that's how he was portrayed by the Democrats when he ran for president in 2012.

Gee, Mitt, we are all going to be waiting here with baited breath just to hear what you decide.

That quote proves how dumb Mitt actually is.  He should never have answered that question, especially  not that way.

That's right.  He was part of a Buy-out company.

He must have at some point.  I read back when he was running for Pres that whatever inheritance/trust fund his dad left him...he donated to the Church and started from $0 to whatever fortune he has now.
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

Bain Capital.  Couldn't remember the name, although I should have.  It was featured in every anti-Romney ad back then.

If he were the Republican candidate I would most certainly vote for him, and I am outside the Mormon faith.

I guess you are too young to remember his Presidential run if that stupidity he spouted surprises you.

I voted for him against Bammy, and if I lived in UT, I'd probably vote to seat him in the Senate.  Unless someone extraordinary runs against Trump in 2020, the only thing that's probably going to happen is splitting the GOP vote and handing it to the DEMS.  I think the GOPe needs to rethink what that would mean.

Trump won in 2016 with the GOP vote "split."

"Split" with Castle, with McMuffin, with not voting.

Why would 2020 be different, regarding GOP votes?

What a dummy.

I can understand the hesitation to support Pres. Trump prior to the election and even into the first 6 months of his administration. After the first 6 months it's been clear that Pres. Trump is trying to fulfill the promises he made on the campaign trail and was elected to do. Undercutting the one politician elected by all of the country, who is the head of the party, and has been trying to fulfill his campaign promises is wrong.
