Trump attorney Cohen overshadows Mueller probe

President Trump’s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, overshadowed much of the conversation surrounding Robert Mueller's investigation on Sunday, as Trump’s legal team reportedly prepares for Cohen to cooperate with federal investigators.

Political analysts note that there is likely incredible pressure on Cohen, who the The New York Times also reported has been the target of Trump's criticism for years.

Trump on Saturday insisted Cohen will remain loyal to him even after the FBI raided the lawyer’s office, home and hotel room earlier this month.

“The New York Times and a third rate reporter named Maggie Haberman, known as a Crooked H flunkie who I don’t speak to and have nothing to do with, are going out of their way to destroy Michael Cohen and his relationship with me in the hope that he will ‘flip,’ ” the president wrote on Twitter, referring to the Times story reporting that Trump’s lawyers are gearing up for Cohen to cooperate with authorities.

If they can't get anything out of Cohen, the libs well have gone a long way to put themselves in a corner. It's well known Mueller referred this case to the SDNYP, and there was a fair amount of questionable tactics to get it done.

It's a big gamble that could hand good reason for Trump to shut this down after he's milked all the political capital out of it he can.

Dershowitz is a clown who still thinks OJ was framed.  He was referring to the Milken case where the prosecution agreed to drop the 13 counts they had on Michael's brother Lowell in exchange for a guilty plea.  Its not like the guy was innocent and they drummed up charges.  They were both guilty as hell, but Michael was the main target with his massive 98 count indictment on securities fraud, insider trading, mail fraud, and racketeering.
