BREAKING: Lawmakers Make Criminal Referral on Clinton, Comey, Lynch to DOJ on Steele Dossier
Obama officials and FBI embattled agents also targeted for possible violations of federal law

Congressional lawmakers made a criminal referral Wednesday to the Department of Justice Attorney General Jeff Sessions against former senior-level Obama administration officials, including employees of the FBI connected with the unverified dossier alleging collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, as well as those involved in the warrants used to spy on a former Trump campaign volunteer, this reporter has learned. The lawmakers also made a criminal referral on former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and threats made by her DOJ against the FBI informant, who provided the bureau with information on the Russian nuclear industry and the approval in 2010 to sell roughly 20 percent of American uranium mining assets to Russia.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee member Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Florida, along with nine other colleagues sent the letter Wednesday to Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray criminally referring former FBI Director James Comey, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe for their involvement in the investigations into President Trump and alleged violations of federal law. FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok and his paramour FBI lawyer Lisa Page, whose anti-Trump text messages obtained by the DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, were also included in the referral.

Criminal Referral Issued For Comey, Clinton, Lynch And McCabe; Rosenstein Recusal Demanded


Eleven GOP members of Congress led by Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) have written a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Attorney John Huber, and FBI Director Christopher Wray – asking them to investigate former FBI Director James Comey, Hillary Clinton and others – including FBI lovebirds Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, for a laundry list of potential crimes surrounding the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Recall that Sessions paired special prosecutor John Huber with DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz – falling short of a second Special Counsel, but empowering Horowitz to fully investigate allegations of FBI FISA abuse with subpoena power and other methods he was formerly unable to utilize.

The GOP letter’s primary focus appears to be James Comey, while the charges for all include obstruction, perjury, corruption, unauthorized removal of classified documents, contributions and donations by foreign nationals and other allegations.

The letter also demands that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein “be recused from any examination of FISA abuse,” and recommends that “neither U.S. Attorney John Huber nor a special counsel (if appointed) should report to Rosenstein.”

The letter refers the following individuals for the following conduct:

James Comey – obstruction, perjury, corruption, stealing public property or records, gathering transmitting or losing defense information, unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents, false statements.

    “Comey’s decision not to seek charges against Clinton’s misconduct suggests improper investigative conduct, potentially motivated by a political agenda.”

    The letter calls Comey out for leaking his confidential memos to the press. “In light of the fact that four of the seven memos were classified, it would appear that former Director Comey leaked classified information when sharing these memos…“

Eleven House Republicans have sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray officially referring Hillary Clinton, fired FBI Director James Comey, fired Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch for criminal investigation. FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, who were caught sending hundreds of anti-Trump text messages during the Clinton investigation, have also been referred for criminal investigation. U.S. Attorney John Huber, who was tapped by Sessions a few weeks ago to investigate the FBI's handling of the Clinton email probe, was copied on the request.

“Because we believe that those in positions of high authority should be treated the same as every other American, we want to be sure that the potential violations of law outlined below are vetted appropriately,” lawmakers wrote.

As the letter outlines, Comey is under fire for allegedly giving false testimony to Congress last summer about the FBI's criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton's repeated mishandling of classified information. Specifically, lawmakers cite Comey's decision to draft an exoneration memo of Clinton months before FBI agents were done with their work and before Clinton and key staffers were interviewed for the probe. They're also going after him for leaking classified information to a friend, which Comey admitted to under oath.

Call me a skeptic... but....  I don't believe anything will come of this "Criminal Referral".  I'll believe it only if or when I see it ... and even then, I'll probably doubt the reality. 

The house of cards criminal enterprise of the Clintons has to be protected by the swamp PTBs... so pulling even one of those cards away (or putting in jail) would topple the whole thing.  Very dubious that it will happen, especially with a weasel like Sessions in charge of "justice".  And I suspect that it will always be so, despite the many who insist that justice be served to Frau Hillary and those protecting her.  To get to her, you'd also have to go through Obama.  And since he has the highest foreign entities protecting him, I don't EVER see that happening.  JS....

a key player in the plot to do Trump in. Sessions is a disgrace.

There is no special prosecutor, Sessions ask Huber to review Horowitz work to help Sessions decide
if a special prosecutor should be appointed.

I think the fact he has pissed of both sides sort of shows he is bipartisan to a degree.

I personally just think he made the wrong decisions or more importantly went about them the wrong way.

Not corrupt?  He leaked information he knew was sketchy to pressure Sessions into ordering Rosenswine to appoint a Special Prosecutor.  That's as corrupt as a Director of the FBI can get.

You're probably right on the last point; he doesn't come off as particularly smart.

In my cynical eye, an FBI Director being "a little bit corrupt" is a bit like being "a little bit pregnant."  We expect more from the leader of the highest Law Enforcement organization in the country. 

All the people mentioned are corrupt.
