An upscale home in a rural subdivision quietly sitting between Auburn and Lincoln had a big secret.

It was one of more than 100 houses authorities say are linked to a Chinese drug cartel traced back to Fujian Province.

Since 2014, state and federal law enforcement agencies have been investigating a number of indoor marijuana grow(er)s in residential neighborhoods throughout the Sacramento area.

There's a picture of one of the alleged houses at the link, pretty nice in a grassy field. This story certainly is not a good one as if we don't have enough bad news to deal with to begin with... Chinese drug cartels...  9999hair out0000

100 homes, that's amazing. I know of one city, some Chinese bought a real nice house but it is set aside basically as the Buddhist Temple for the Chinese folk here... and I don't suspect them at all of any wrongdoing, it just kind of rang a bell.
