Most border-state governors back Trump's National Guard plan

Governors of several states have voiced support for President Donald Trump's decision Wednesday to deploy National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border, paving the way for the White House to implement its latest anti-illegal immigration policy.

The Republican governors of Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico -- three states that border Mexico -- backed the president's move, which officials said could lead to troops on the ground as early as Wednesday night.

Arizona "welcomes the deployment of National Guard to the border," Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey tweeted.

Oregon Governor Refusing National Guard To Border Accepted Soros Donation 3 Days Earlier

The Democrat Governor of the state of Oregon, Ms Kate Brown who was in the news this week for boldly stating that she would refuse any future demand from US President Donald Trump to send National Guard troops to the US-Mexico border, apparently received a $25,000 donation for her re-election campaign from American-Hungarian billionaire and known Democratic backer Mr George Soros just three days before making those statements.

As my colleague reported earlier this week: “the Oregon Governor’s outlandish remarks come as a caravan of illegal aliens, who have been tied to Socialist organizations and are receiving the backing of propagandists tied to billionaire George Soros, have also made headlines heading in the direction of the United States.”   ... I'm waiting to see what California's top state officials do regarding NG and other forces, and any border actions.

But it may come to little, with the 1,000 strong contingent broken up and dispersed.

Small numbers at any one point don't present need for NG backups.
