What is the Deep State?

Since the moment Donald Trump was elected president of the United States, he’s been met with a resistance, including people working within the government to undermine its leader.

Polling shows that an overwhelming majority of Americans believe that a Deep State exists, and that “it’s secretly manipulating or directing national policy.”

Who are these people? Don’t they work for the president? And how is that they feel so invulnerable that they can actively seek to undermine him?

“These are career individuals who essentially have learned how to use the tools of state for their own personal political objectives,” says Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer, a former Army officer with decades of intelligence experience.

Estimated to be only 1200-1400 positions in fedgov, which are appointed by potus.

Upon taking office, new Presidents usually replace many but not all of them.

Below those are tens of thousands of permanent, mostly DC based, upper and mid level career bureaucrats.

Most of those are left leaning; bigger, more powerful and costly government.

As we have seen, resistence to change is a very big change.  For example, once a topic like "Climate Change" takes form, regulations and decisions will start, in many different departments. Career positions will be created, for various aspects.

Ask: Does your local schol district, city, county, special district, state government spend money and have practices which treat "climate change" as if it is a real thing?

Ditto that on various topics, do it for decades, and you arriive at the Deep State, that spends more resources "protecting" every possible angle, from skin hue, to ethniciities, to sexual variants, etc.

Some days you would think the purpose of government, was to "protect" everybody and everything, but you.

In procurement, preferences for "minority owned" and "woman owned" take hold. Governmentagencies don't stop at their own direct purchases, but apply thse regulations to any firm they sub-contract with.

Once cultures are created in ANY organization they are VERY difficult and painful to change.  When the Communist infiltrated our government in earnest during the 1920-30s and nothing was done about it our fate was sealed.
