8 More Massachusetts State Troopers to Be Investigated in Overtime Scandal

The Massachusetts State Police overtime pay scandal is expanding with eight more troopers now under investigation for allegedly being paid for overtime shifts they never worked.

The total number of troopers being looked at now stands at 30, including one that was suspended early on.

A state police spokesman said Saturday that the eight additional troopers are being looked at for one to four possible shift discrepancies, which is the lowest bracket in the investigation.
