The 15 minutes of fame are about up for Daniels and Hogg

The phrase "everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes" is credited to either Andy Warhohl or his photographer, Nat Finkelstein (1966 or 1968).  Whoever said it first, it has indeed turned out to be true when it comes to persons who are suddenly slingshot into a media firestorm for one reason or another.  Soon enough, our twenty-four-hour news cycle moves on to the next cultural or political phenomenon, whether it is legitimate or entirely fake.

We forget these people the minute they disappear from our television or internet screens.  We will quickly forget Stormy Daniels and David Hogg, too, and the sooner, the better.  Let the next firestorm begin!  This one began to stink a few weeks ago.

There’s a difference between Hogg and Daniels.

Daniels is reflective of a real character problem in trump.  Hogg is a dense tool of the leftist attempt to take away our freedom and destroy the constitution.

The article would have been better had it not paired the two as equals.

Daniels will be forgotten. She is not a particularly useful pawn.

Hogg, however, is a useful weapon for the Left: someone who can rant and rave all their talking points and, because of his victim status, is much more difficult to discredit.

The press is using both to promote their own biased agenda.  Both actors are useful tools. Both are riding the wave and winning at self promotion.

I don't think Stormy Daniels (and her attorney) are going anywhere anytime soon.  A hearing on their lawsuit isn't even scheduled for over a month (April 30).  The judge has to then rule on that.  Then depending upon how he rules, there may be depositions or it may go to arbitration for settlement.  Then, of course, there's the matter of the Cohen/Trump legal claims of $20+M in damages.  Seems to me like we're in for several more weeks if not months of this nonsense.

The problem is that Daniels doesn't establish anything new. NEWS media, by its nature, emphasizes the new. So he had an affair with an adult entertainer and paid her in exchange for an NDA? You're talking about a man two years ago who bragged about groping women and getting away with it, who admitted lusting after his own daughter—and he STILL got elected. Besides, being a lecherous sleazeball doesn't really affect policy, either, and sex doesn't sell anywhere near as much as the masses think it does.

At this point, the story goes well beyond a $130K payment and an NDA IMO.  Cohen has claimed that the Trump campaign and the Trump organization knew nothing about this payment yet he used his Trump organization e-mail and address for correspondence.  Did Trump himself know about it?  Further, there are now lawsuits and countersuits.  There are also suggestions of possible FEC violations by Cohen.  There's now a hearing scheduled for April 30 to determine if a sitting President has to give a deposition about "hush money" paid to a porn star.  Sure, there's plenty of teasing and repetitiveness in some of the reporting, but I think Michael Avenatti is presenting and will continue to present enough news-worthy material (at least in the opinion of the MSM) to keep this story in the news for many weeks to come.  JMO.

One points to trumps personal Achilles heel, the other unrelated to trump.

The fact that the vile media is using both doesn’t mean that legitimate media sources like this one should pair them together.

The article would have been more effective had it dealt with the idiot Hogg by himself.
