I do not understand this line of thinking.  If the Oligarchy in DC doesn't follow the existing limits the Constitution places upon it now, and government continually circumvents it or outrightly ignore it when it does not serve their corrupt needs - why are we stupid enough to think that passing MORE Amendments to impede them is going to work any better?

@INVAR

Ok!  I'll explain it for you.  It's as a drowning man clutching at a straw that happens to float by.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

A fact which should sufficiently piss off enough Conservative and/or rightie voters to hand the victory this November over to the rats....

all as intended and designed via this latest Crapulous legislation.

With a very complicit GOP who are not as stupid as we assume they are.

They assume you and I are stupid and will keep playing their shell game - until the currency implodes and has to be reset as the consequences of what has already been done begin to manifest themselves in reality.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

An Article V Convention is not going to save us or restore the Republic.  At best it can be used as a justification for what will be inevitable if any shred of liberty is to be retained.

But methinks the consequences of what has already been done the past decade-plus is going to be visited upon us big-time, very soon.  This fiasco today just puts a few grand pianos and some anvils balanced above the single toothpick the Fed has balanced everything on top of.

They assume we will vote for them because they're better than the Democrats. The lesser of two evils. Or in short, you have no where else to go.

Until enough people refuse to play that game, we will continue to lose. But as we've seen so many times before the hysteria of "this is last election if we lose..." overrides their basic principles and in fear they vote for more of the same.

So Trump is just business as usual in the swamp.  I hope nobody really thought Trump would be different than the weak RINOs who preceded him.

Meet the new boss.

You kept insisting Trump was the most pro-life president we've ever had.

This feeble excuse is hardly a mentionable effort, even for you.

Of course they did, and some of them still do and refuse to admit it.

Sorry.... but.... I'll never bring myself to vote for ANY Democrat.  I, like most disgruntled conservative voters, will just refrain from voting rather than that.  JS....
I thought that way once, but found out it really depends upon who is on the ticket.

I voted for the Democrat crook Eddie Edwards for Louisiana Governor over the Republican in 1991.

Why?  Because David Duke was the GOP candidate.  No way I would ever vote for him, and to ensure he did not get the Governorship, I had to vote for the Dem.

No punishment, in my opinion, is too great, for the man who can build his greatness upon his country's ruin~  George Washington

  • Ephesians 6:13 Stand Firm in the face of evil
Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said he voted against the spending bill in part because it provided taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood.

“It continues to fund Planned Parenthood, a corrupt organization whose horrifying abortion practices should preclude it from receiving taxpayer dollars,” Cruz said.

Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul also voted against the omnibus bill, citing the legislation’s Planned Parenthood funding.

At least Cruz and Paul supporters know that these gentlemen understand where the right side on an issue is.

I have said to many of my Christian friends that I voted for Cruz.  He is a Christian man.  A family man.

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

Years ago Trump was recorded saying that abortion was something that was inherent to his NY values. I believed him then, one would be a fool not to believe him now.

If only the President had the power to do something like veto a shitty bill.  Oh well, too bad no one ever thought of that before.

Here's what it means @mystery-ak  .....  Congress has the purse and the power to appropriate the money.

Would you be okay with this omnibus bill if PP wasn't funded and nothing else was different?
