RUSH: Auntie Maxine, who’s the queen of the resistance. She was on a TV show called Washington Watch with Roland Martin. It’s on some network called TV One. And he said to Maxine, “The reality is like anything else, you’d better get what you can while he’s there, because look, come 2016…†They’re talking about Obama, and they’re talking about African-Americans and other minorities. “Hey, you better reach in and grab everything you can while Obama’s there, because after 2016, Obama’s gone.â€
Now, if I may make a brief departure here, in less than a year, Donald Trump has done more for the lives and the future of African-Americans than Barack Obama even thought about in eight years. Black unemployment never came down under Barack Obama. Black prosperity didn’t move any at all. But here’s Ronald Martin. What does this mean? “The reality’s like anything else. You better get what you can while he’s there.†What does that mean? “You better get what you can.†Like in benefits? What the hell does that mean?
Well, we all know what it means, and we all know what it meant for these people to vote for Obama. That’s why you did it. Remember the woman in Tampa that wanted Obama to get her a new kitchen? That’s what his election meant to her, a new kitchen. Maybe a new van to drive around in while she did whatever other things that she did. Anyway, here is auntie Maxine’s answer to that.
