Comedian Kathy Griffin said Saturday that her upcoming show at New York's Carnegie Hall sold out in just a day.

Griffin is resuming touring just under a year after sparking national backlash for posing for a photo with a bloody, decapitated fake head resembling President Trump.

The comedian tweeted Saturday that she is "grateful" for her fans' support after she was forced to stop touring in the U.S. after posing for the photo.
