The big gun-control bill House Democrats are pushing after the horrific Florida school shooting has a significant flaw. It won’t prevent the next school shooting.

On Monday, House Democrats introduced an assault weapons ban. Of the 193 Democrats in the House, 168 are sponsors or co-sponsors. That includes Reps. Dina Titus, Jacky Rosen and Ruben Kihuen, Nevada’s three House Democrats.

This may or may not be the particular "path" they want to travel.
But how they get there doesn't matter.

If the idiot left thinks they're going to succeed in banning the AR-15.... they've got another think coming.  I don't own one, but I may have to scrape up the cash and go buy one.... for the helluvit.

And no, I will not comply with their anti-constitutional gun ownership infringements.

At this moment the path appears to go through POTUS.  But yeah, the path doesn't matter.

The bill is posted in the Shooting Sports section here. It's terms and definitions are so broad that at some point the AWB of 2018 couldn't some point down the road could include any weapon.
