This guy Turdue gets the John Kerry dildo of the year award!

NEW DELHI -- Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau admitted Thursday that a convicted Sikh extremist had been invited to dine with him in New Delhi, just the latest controversy to dog his visit to India.

Trudeau said the invitation to Jaspal Atwal -- who was found guilty of trying to assassinate an Indian minister in 1986 -- had been revoked and those at fault had taken responsibility.

"Obviously, we take this situation extremely seriously," he told reporters in New Delhi.

"The individual in question never should have received an invitation and as soon as we found out we rescinded the invitation immediately."

Trudeau has been at pains during his visit to quash long-simmering perceptions in India that his administration is soft on Sikh extremists.

Come on, now...what extremists has Trump invited to dine with him?

No one found guilty of an assassination plot...that I know of anyway.

Can you even imagine?  Think of your children pledging allegiance to the maple leaf. Mayonnaise on everything. Winter 11 months of the year. Anne Murray - all day, every day.   Not to mention Le Quebecois.
You know. Wine drinkers. Pea soup eaters. French Canadians!

He sort of inherited the Crown from his father.

At least he could have invited the terrorist, to emigrate to Canada, along with the many others.

Even Canucks hate French Canadians. Outside a strip club in Niagara years ago my associates and I observed a man getting the livving shit kicked out of him by three fellows. When I inquired to the drunken Canuck next to me what the disagreement was over he responded that the guy was a Quebecer and they didn't like the French speaking bastards.

It was the only racial crime I ever witnessed.

If we're fortunate, we might soon get another offspring of a former Prime Minister, Caroline Mulroney (daughter of Brian Mulroney).

But of course, there's always Doug Ford, brother of the late, crazy Toronto mayor Rob Ford.

In any case, it's looking like a PC victory might be in the works.  :hands:

Caroline looks conflicted.  I can't decide if she is perky or saggy

Justin Trudeau Makes A Fool Of Himself Again, Insults Entire Nation Of India With Condescending, Ethnic Attire
Daily Wire, Feb 22, 2018, Jared Sichel

What is wrong with this guy?

Fresh off lecturing a young woman to say “peoplekind” instead of “mankind,” Canada’s pretty boy Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stepped in it again, this time insulting the entire nation of India during his boondoggle of an eight-day family workcation.

Twitter lit into Trudeau, 46, this week, for wearing over-the-top, traditional Indian attire that appeared at once desperate and condescending. Sherwanis; kurta shirts; an awkward outfit straight out of central casting for a Bollywood bridegroom.

“It’s a kind of reverse colonialism to want to mimic the ‘native’. Doing a kurta number as a salute to a culture is one thing, but Justin Trudeau’s display of trousseau like repertoire of multi-coloured kurtas has begun to grate,” wrote Indian political consultant Dilip Cherian.

“Offending garments include Trudeau's long, multicolored sherwanis, usually worn on special occasions such as weddings or in Bollywood movies,” wrote The Washington Post’s New Delhi correspondent, Vidhi Doshi. “Trudeau wore a sparkling gold one to a meeting with Bollywood's top brass while the film stars wore muted black suits. Add to that the Canadian first family's posey, soap-opera style namastes, and it's enough to keep social media here buzzing with memes and jokes.”

His whole family kept showing up everywhere dressed in elaborate Indian formal wear. Try imagining Indian PM Narendra Modi hanging out in Ottawa for a week alternately dressed like a cowboy or a Mountie or a French-Canadian biker, and you have some idea of how obnoxious it was to watch Justin Trudeau traipse around the subcontinent playing ethnic dress-up.

For the last few months I got the impression from his incessant obsequious fawning praise that he was about to convert to Islam.

Now he seems to want to be a Hindu. I guess there is no group that this guy will not pander to (except White Christians of course). Liberals just can't help themselves to bow and grovel when it comes to any minority.

It reminds me of this crazy pic. I can't imagine how embarrassed the Emperor was.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.

Yes...his mother was quite enamored with Fidel, and the resemblance is much stronger to him than to Pierre Trudeau.

For comparison:

Here's the two of them, Fidel and Pierre, in a singalong (no, I'm not joking...):

Leading the criticism was Omar Abdullah, former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, who tweeted on Wednesday saying Trudeau's preening was 'all just a bit much.'

'We Indians do not dress like this every day sir, not even in Bollywood.'  ...

India Today described the choice of clothing as 'tacky', suggesting it was insulting to his guests.

The paper wrote: 'We understand that the Trudeaus do not understand Indian clothing as well as Indian dignitaries do, but for someone who's been fond of wearing Indian kurtas even back home, it's not wrong to expect a touch of class.'

While I do see the resemblance with Fidel, I would say there is enough resemblance to Pierre as well.

Yes.  A Canadian friend of mine is sure it's true and why sonny loves Communism so much.  But I've told her I'm not convinced.
