Several US media outlets, including the Los Angeles Times and CNN, reported that Rick Gates, a former campaign aide and lobbyist, has struck a deal with Robert Mueller, the special counsel,

Great. Another thread based on liars telling us about what other liars think is going on. No actual announcement from Mueller's team. No court proceedings happening. Just liars quoting liars. Swell.

The allegations against Manafort and Gates involve money laundering and bank fraud beginning in 2006 through 2015.

These charges @AbaraXas have nothing to do with the 12 minutes Paul Manafort spent working with the Trump campaign.

IF Gates has flipped against Manafort, he may be doing so to reduce prison time.  The sentence for the charges can be as high as 20 years.
