As I've mentioned here before, the so-called "analysis" is a joke.
Simple example:
1) Copy files over the network halfway around the world. Slow as you like.
2) Copy files to memory stick.
3) Copy files from memory stick to another computer.
4) Run your "analysis" on second computer.
Ah, ha! Those files were copied at the speed of a memory stick, faster than most home internet users could!
P.S. 22MB/s is not "virtually impossible" from halfway around the world. It's certainly not difficult for a local network, it's actually rather slow in that case.
