California is a disaster. That’s what usually happens when Democrats are given control of state and local government for a long period of time. The left has been in charge pretty much unchallenged for about 50 years. Sure there were a couple Republican governors sprinkled in but the decisions being made in Sacramento have been liberal for the most part.
The roads are falling apart. Taxes are sky high. Businesses are fleeing. Homeless towns are popping up everywhere. The schools are terrible. The state can’t manage its way out of a paper bag.
They definitely can’t manage their prison system.
