Denny's is Great! Everytime I go there I order the same thing. Steak and Eggs breakfast (you always have to order rare, anything else and the will overcook it to leather) with hash browns and toast. Big glass of OJ with that, mmmmmm, nothing better in the world. You are my first. I have never met anyone before who didn't like Denny's. That's a new one for me. Didn't know you people even existed.
In my late teenage days after a drunken weekend with friends in Corpus, we stopped in San Antonio at a Denny’s to feed our hangovers. I made the mistake of ordering “Biscuits and Gravyâ€. The waitress asked me if i wanted the gravy on the side. I replied that I preferred it on top of the biscuits, but either way was fine.
I got dinner rolls with brown gravy on the top.
I almost lost the Gatorade I had previously guzzled when the smell and sight hit me in the face. That was my first and last trip to Denny’s. I hear they serve redneck food these days, but I haven’t been back to find out.
