Illegal Alien Pleads Guilty To Christmas Eve Murder

JACKSONVILLE, NC (News Channel 12) – An Onslow County man pleaded guilty to second degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury in Onslow County Superior Court on Monday for a 2015 Christmas Eve shooting.
Pedro De La O, 50, of Daisy Street in Jacksonville was charged with murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflict serious injury in December 2015. Arrest warrants at the time showed De La O killed Fernando Alonzo and assaulted Pascual Monjaraz-Sierra with a 9mm semi-automatic firearm.
