Fort Carson releases names of 2 soldiers killed in helicopter crash

The Army on Monday released the names of two Fort Carson soldiers killed in a helicopter crash during training in the Southern California desert early Saturday.

Chief Warrant Officer Kevin F. Burke, 28 of California, and 1st Lt. Clayton R. Cullen, 25, of Indiana, died when an AH-64E Apache helicopter crashed at about 1 a.m. Saturday at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin.

Both men were assigned to Fort Carson's 4th Combat Aviation Brigade.
