A hashtag pinning blame for the partial government shutdown on President Trump became the top worldwide trending topic on Twitter as the clock struck midnight at the end of a long Friday on Capitol Hill.

Since one hour before might #TrumpShutdown, which had become a rallying cry for Democrats opposing the short-term spending measure supported by the Republican leadership and the White House, was number one.

...  As we once again witnessed the triumph of party over country, the finger pointing will begin. Because the Democrats essentially got everything they once demanded in a spending bill they threw in the “clean DACA” towards the end of debate in order to have a noble reason to refuse to sign on. So we can’t have a functioning government budget because… Dreamers! Virtue signaling not withstanding, the ball’s really in your court Chucky.

Those of us who think that granting amnesty for 3.6 million (and counting) “Dreamers” – no matter the circumstances of their arrival – is a fool’s game will continue to be called racists. So be it.

But wait – what’s this!?! The media isn’t entirely embracing the Dem’s narrative?

Geraldo just said that he is worried about the Schumer Shutdown because he is afraid that it is going to bring ire on the so called 'dreamers' who will be blamed for Americans not getting paid.


He said this may do more harm to dreamers than it will help their cause.

We all know this is just a political stunt. We all know we will get our government back. If you have to wait for your paycheck so what? All those paychecks will be made up anyway.

Obviously this is a guy who have never lived hand to mouth, paycheck to paycheck. Even a week delay will cause some people and children to go hungry. If they do this thing for real, for a couple of months or so, that will be devastating for a lot of people.
