Poll: More blame Trump and GOP for possible shutdown than Dems

Many more Americans blame President Trump and the GOP for the possible government shutdown looming Friday than Democrats, according to a new poll from the Washington Post and ABC News.

The poll found that 48 percent of respondents said that Trump and Republicans were responsible for a shutdown, compared to 28 percent who said Democrats are to blame.

Eighteen percent of respondents said that both parties are to blame.

The House passed a short-term funding proposal on Thursday, which Senate Democrats are largely opposed to because it does not include a fix to protect “Dreamers,” the young undocumented immigrants protected under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program that Trump rescinded.

All they have to do is keep messaging that schumer shut the govt down for millions of illegals over the needs of our military and citizens.
