Hard freeze warning for all of southeast Georgia, northeast and north central Florida overnight through mid-morning on Thursday. Lows in the 20s all areas except near 30 at the northeast Florida beaches.

A hard freeze is a lot better than a soft freeze. Chicks giggle at and mock a soft freeze.

 The carnage done my neighbors and other peoples tropical plants and trees in our non tropical living zone has been legendary.   I plan on setting up a roadside plant stand and sell discount tropicals at a highly inflated price to the rubes..

It is bad.  It was so cold all the ladies got their "Animals" out of the closet.  I haven't seen so many former furry woodland creatures paraded around on peoples backs since a pack of stoned skwerls attacked Mrs Jones and The Lady's auxiliary garden club members planting hemp 20 years ago.  There were white ones, brown ones, silver ones, multi colored ones, big ones, crazy ones and ones with the heads and their bushy little tails still attached. For days the damn hood smelled like cheep gin and mothballs.

Son in key West told me he had to put on long pants and a long sleeve shirt this week, It was below 50 at night and he was cold.....

My gauge for real cold is when that first breath freezes in the nostril hair...and the snow underfoot makes squeeching sounds when you walk on it, like walking on styrofoam packing. You get acclimated to mere single digit above temps, unless the wind is blowing...
