Nancy Pelosi: GOP including CHIP in funding deal is 'a bowl of doggy-doo, put a cherry on top and call it a chocolate sundae'

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., downplayed the inclusion of the Children's Health Insurance Program in the Republican spending plan expected to reach the floor Thursday.

Pelosi likened the inclusion to a "bowl of doggy-doo" disguised as a sundae, pointing to a series of issues that are not included in the bill that would make CHIP work more effectively, including funding for community health centers.

"This is like giving you a bowl of doggy-doo, put a cherry on top and call it a chocolate sundae. This is nothing," Pelosi charged during her weekly press conference.

She argued CHIP funding should have been taken care of in September and been extended for 10 years, adding Republicans are instead including tax cuts in the bill rather than include funding for those Democratic priorities.

The University of Ca branch office there, UCSF, has been and remains a Huge, Major recipient of Tax Dollars through NIH for Medical Research. That makes UCSF Big Pharma's Female Dog, because there's an awful lot of 'Research' that results in patients being crippled or killed to prop up new drugs.

This is a major clue as to the Sanctuary City State red line.

Nobody is going to raise a stink or Sue anyone over Crippled and Dead Illegals.

It's a huge part of the public toilet SF has become.

We already knew the Dems didn't give a flip about the Dreamers;  now we know they could care less about the kids who need CHIP too.   They're pawns in their game.   

This is all about politics -  the Dems care only about winning back the House this fall, and figure that stoking the chaos will win them more votes.  As Daniel Henninger wrote in this morning's WSJ:

The [conclusion] is inescapable:  Sen Durbin poisoned the well of the immigration negotiations.  He instantly recognized that Democrats would gain more politically from public exposure of Mr. Trump's private words than they would gain from any DACA deal.

For Democrats, every waking moment has telescoped to one thing:  gaining control of the House in November.   They have concluded, not without reason, that success at the polls will correlate directly to public dislike of Mr. Trump personally.  For Sen. Durbin,  the Trump expletive was a gift from the gods.  As to the 800,000 dreamers who had a deal in sight at last Tuesday's White House meeting, well, they can wait.
