We’ve been covering the ongoing battle over the Renewable Fuel Standard and the ethanol mandate scheme for quite a while here, though it’s currently fallen into something of a lull. Then why single out the ethanol industry? I don't support the mandate, but this is some pretty self-righteous cherry picking, especially considering that the author all but gives his endorsement to the oil and gas industry, who gets their own perks like a number of industries do in the US.
