 It’s Never Fun to Lose a Senate Seat, But the GOP Dodged a Bullet

The populists are indeed miracle workers, they’ve managed to elect a Democrat in Alabama.

Roy Moore may very well have been the worst Senate nominee for any major party in American history. Even if you dismissed the allegations of him sexually pursuing teenagers in his 30s – and there was no compelling reason to believe Moore’s shifting denials –he managed to create appalling new controversies in almost every appearance.

He completely avoided the campaign trail in the final days, because he could not be trusted to speak to the public.

The odds still favor the GOP in the 2018 midterms in the Senate. Dems have to protect 22 incumbents, and they won't have the cash to do it. A GOP pickup of only 4 seats will marginalize Jones, not too mention Susan Collins and John McCain.

If George Washington or even Reagan were running for that seat - they would have received the same treatment and worse with both garnering the same stupid post-game opinion hit-pieces like this one to declare them to be the worst candidates in history.  The Big Government Oligarchy has realized that it has the weapon of power to choose our "representatives" for us if the little people choose a candidate that may not loyally support the Statist oligarchy in charge.

Conservatives, welcome to the minority.  Amazing what a decade was able to achieve politically.

You have been successfully replaced by Godless Socialists both due brainwashing the former majority and the importation of the third world without the requirement they assimilate to an American culture.  All while the ones charged by the Founders to uphold the foundational principles that undergirded the culture, sat on their hands out of indifference or fear of the Left's endless assaults.

The odds?   And what are the odds that the rats have more up their evil sleeves? 

This is the era of judgment-via-public-opinion.  And the GOP... due to their RINO inaction, apathy, treachery, lies, disloyalty and outright stupidity....  is losing supporters and voters AS WE SPEAK.  Do you really think that by November next year that will reverse and change for the better?  I sure as hell don't.  It will only get worse.  The GOP is, once again, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.   And they are doing it deliberately.

In short... we're screwed.
