Illegal Alien Wanted For Stabbing Pa. Woman Caught Trying To Escape Back To Mexico

BROWNSVILLE, TX (NBC 10) – Customs and Border Protection officers in Texas captured a man wanted on attempted murder charges in Pennsylvania who was trying to cross into Mexico.

Authorities say Mexican immigration officials at Gateway International Bridge on Monday notified them that 32-year-old Leovigildo Castanon lacked documents to enter into Mexico. A fingerprint check verified the Guatemala citizen was wanted.
