There is also a lot of water to lubricate the movement of rock masses in the crust and upper mantle on Earth.

If you look at all the unusual things that had to happen at the right time for us to be here, you might conclude it is a miracle that we exist.

I imagine life is quite common, given the vastness of the universe, intelligent life is an entirely difference thing. Intelligent life, I'm guessing, is very rare and possibly unique to Earth.
