French Christmas market cancelled, security costs too high amid terror threat

A Christmas market in France has been cancelled because it can’t afford the security costs amid Europe’s ever-growing terror threat.
It comes after police in Germany found a suspicious package near a similar Christmas market in Potsdam.
This event in Lyon, at Croix-Rousse, would have cost €20,000 in security, so organisers have called it off.
