One difference between show business and politics

Yes, I know, there isn't as much difference between show business and politics as there
used to be. But I couldn't help noticing:

If you're in show business and you're accused or caught sexually misbehaving today, you get
fired.

If you're in politics and you're accused or caught sexually misbehaving today, you get
elected.

This whole deal is a simple extrapolation of the same ol thing.

It don't matter which power structure you'd care to look at, you're gonna have men chasing the ca'ching, the bling, and the 'tang - and you're gonna have women chasing those men.

The rest is academic and predictable.

As long as America continues down this road bastardizing capitalism into materialism and fame worship it will continue to devolve until anything goes (we're pretty much there now).

The only way to fix it is the same ol way its always been.
