First lady Melania Trump hosted children to the White House Monday as she walked through a fully-decorated executive mansion, unveiling her vision of a Trump Christmas – simple, yet elegant, with elements of Americana and nature.
 
'She's beautiful, like an angel!' one young boy remarked, as the first lady – whose cream-colored belted dress with bell sleeves could have been worn by a tree topper – walked into the East Room to help a group of kids make garland.

Melania Trump entered the holiday festivities by taking the grand staircase, into the foyer, as three ballerinas danced to 'The Nutcracker Suite,' in a room filled with faux fur trees glistening with snow.

I know.  The first thing I thought about after admiring these beautiful pictures is what an utter travesty Obama and the Missus made of Christmas.

Actually.... not just Christmas.... it's what they made of America in those eight looong years.  And 'travesty' is putting it mildly.   Hillary would have been an really bad extension of that travesty. 

We have three more years (at least) to try to heal the damage done by the militant community organizing America-haters.  I just hope and pray that will be enough time.  Hopefully, even if Trump doesn't win a 2nd term, maybe Pence can win against the radical left and give us four more years.  Hope springs....

After two years of seeing how the establishment operates it’s clear to me that Mike Pence is too much of a nice a guy to wage the kind of battles needed to expose and dismantle the deep state. He doesn’t seem to have the right personality or killer instincts necessary to be effective against the slime bags in DC.

Donald Trump, however,  appears to have just the right combination of intestinal fortitude and temperament for the dirty jobs still ahead. JMHO.

Melania looks positively angelic and the Christmas decorations are perfect. I think they signal a return to Americana themes that have been sorely lacking from the Obama WH.

I'm astounded by the class and grace she has displayed this last year.   A terrific first lady and person.   I strongly doubted her because of her past but she has restored the First Lady as a position of respect.
