Yes, Virginia, Immigration Is Turning The Country Blue

Quote
Yes, Virginia, Immigration Is Turning The Country Blue
Ann Coulter

....

What happened was: Democrats brought in new voters. In 1970, only one out of every 100 Virginians was foreign-born. By 2012, one in nine Virginians was foreign-born.

The foreign-born vote overwhelmingly, by about 80 percent, for Democrats. They always have and they always will -- especially now that our immigration policies aggressively discriminate in favor of the poorest, least-educated, most unskilled people on Earth. They arrive in need of a LOT of government services.

According to the Pew Research Center, 75 percent of Hispanic immigrants and 55 percent of Asian immigrants support bigger government, compared to just over 40 percent of the general public. Even third-generation Hispanics support bigger government by 58 percent.

What a shame. This is the sort of stuff Buchanan has written but I'm sure, there have been plenty of others... even before him.

As I said, this is what Pat Buchanan has written about, Ann reiterates it.  One worries if it might be too late when states, and not only because of 3rd world immigration, there are other reasons but states like Nevada and Colorado have largely gone or are close to being blue as well while they were pretty strong red in the past. Worrisome trend though we know the cities in many states are what is blue and a lot of the rest of the state is red.

We are virtually, throwing our country away, at least, its heritage.

I do think Trump expands the voting base some, attracts some blacks and Hispanics and in fact, I know Asians that like him.

Blue is not the color that concerns me.

Pat was right years ago.
He's still right.

"We are virtually, throwing our country away"

Yup.
But it ain't all the invading immigrants of color who are to blame.

Well, then, who IS "to blame"?
For that, look to ol' Will Shakespeare:
"The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in... ourselves"

Back in the day a few of us over on TOS used to be called all kinds of names because we believed our immigration policies were turning America into a socialist oligarchy. I'd like to know where the morons who used to casually sling those insults are now.
