Police say an Illegal Immigrant in Milwaukee fathered his step-daughter's child, thinking paternity proof would allow him to stay in the U.S

MILWAUKEE, WI — A Milwaukee man, who police say was in the U.S. illegally, impregnated his 15-year-old step-daughter and later sought a paternity test, believing a positive result would keep him in the U.S., authorities reported.
Horacio Alvarado, 32 , Milwaukee, faces charges of first-degree sexual assault, repeated sexual assault of the same child and incest with a child by a stepparent, according to court records. If convicted, Alvarado faces up to 90 years in prison.
