Anthony Edwards, the actor famous for his work in Top Gun and on ER, has revealed that he was molested at the age of 12 by Broadway producer and theme park designer Gary Goddard.

In a post published on Medium on Friday, the 55-year-old actor says the abuse started when he was 12 years old and Goddard was mentoring him.

Edwards says that Goddard 'quickly became a dominant force in my life' - taking advantage of an emptiness in his home life.
