    GOP nears deal on list of demands for DACA

    A vocal member of the House Freedom Caucus said Thursday that GOP leaders are close to cementing an immigration package that would couple new enforcement measures with protection for “Dreamers” — and win the support of conservatives in the process.


    Rep. Dave Brat (R-Va.) said the Republicans are eying a plan consisting of three components favored by conservatives: An effort to discourage chain migration; the creation of a mandatory e-verify system to deter hiring immigrants in the country illegally; and the elimination of the diversity visa program.

If the GOP's history is any indication I believe their position statement to the democrats on the deal will be something like this"We demand that you get everything you wanted...........and then some, while we the GOP will get n_o_t_h_i_n_g, absolutely nothing that we demanded up front, no really we insist and we are so sorry to have not given you what you wanted to begin with.  Love and kisses Mitch and Paul"

Just like last time.... all the promises in the world till the amnesty is done, and then the promises will be defunded and back to square one. Watch and see... Oh, and Tump bravely signing the legislation in front of his adoring fans...
