It’s scary season, and not just for the youthful ghosts and goblins that may soon knock on your door.

The approach of year’s end always brings out anxieties about what’s next for the economy, not to mention the urge of certain bean counters to gussy up the bottom line with a few holiday-season cutbacks!

In keeping with the Halloween spirit, here are 13 things that might spook Southern California’s economy! Remember, antsy consumers often spend less. And nervous bosses hire less. Boo!
