The congregation at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder is expected to vote on Sunday on whether to proceed with preparations to outfit itself as a sanctuary for undocumented immigrants seeking to avoid deportation.

The move, however, has caused some concerns among parents of students at the Active Boulder Kids Preschool, which is housed in the same building as the church.

So long as the follow the ancient traditions regarding sanctuary -- the person seeking sanctuary cannot leave the church premises, is subject to the discipline of the church (though that doesn't sound like much of anything in the case of Unitarian Universalists), and dependent on the church -- I have no problem with this.  They step outside the church and ICE or any other civil authorities can swoop in and pick them up.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.
