A frequent sight during the Libyan Civil War was a bunch of rockets mounted on top of a pickup truck, used to fire a raw barrage at the enemy. When rebels hostile to Muammar Gaddafi overran Libyan military bases, they captured huge stocks of military equipment including UB-16-57 helicopter-mounted rocket pods that they bolted onto trucks, providing a quick but highly inaccurate suppressive fire capability for the rebels.
