Bannon's move to purge GOP may backfire
By Brent Budowsky, opinion contributor — 10/17/17 09:50 AM EDT

While President Trump claims that his relations with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) have never been better and while Stephen K. Bannon continues his war against McConnell and a long list of Republican Senators, we will learn whether Bannon is fronting for Trump or acting against him.

If Bannon does not end his attacks against incumbent GOP senators, we will know that he is colluding with the president, who is dividing Republicans — and all Americans — against each other and endangering GOP control of the Senate.

And, even more scary to The Hill, it may succeed.

What a bunch of fearmongering clickbait douchery and pathetic psyops.

The article, written by a Democrat, fails to point out the current ineffectiveness of the current GOP caucus screams out for primaries of people that will get something done.

He then whispers 'collusion' trying to metaphor it with the liberal banshee frenzy of Russia! Russia! Russia!, to cast shade and suspicion, as if anything can be done in a represenative republic without collusion. Primaries are fair game for anyone and everyone and everybody knows it.

The author then tries to imply every candidate Bannon comes up with will be some nationalist kook, and gives 2012 as an example because some candidates shot their mouths off at the wrong time. He fails to point out that those candidates were winning till their misssteps, which were seized upon and hammered on repeatedly to complete utter disproportion by the liberal propaganda media.

The reality is that Bannon will only get those who are willing to run. Being we're already well into the '18 season, those candidates are likely already running and will simply get an endorsement. None of which matters because any conservative Rep is smeared as kooky out of the gate. It's just nothing but liberal scaremongering that Bannon and Trump are trying to create this insidious and nefarious group of skinhead and armband candidates to take over congress.

The Republic is lost.
