    The Washington Post revealed details of the segment on Tuesday morning
    Hannity told DailyMail.com he was 'young and stupid' at the time
    He was fired over the row and enlisted the help of an ACLU lawyer to sue the college radio station
    The University of California in Santa Barbara gave him his job back at the time
    On Tuesday, Hannity said his remarks on the subject were 'ignorant and embarrassing'
    He insisted some of the worst were made by his guest and not by him

Shocking remarks made by Sean Hannity in 1989 about AIDS have surfaced.

The Fox News host was the voice of The Pursuit of Happiness, a show run by the University of California's radio station KCSB, when he made the comments which briefly cost him his job.
