Who’s ready for a 45′ tall naked woman on the National Mall all winter?

If only she’d been five feet taller. Then she could have attacked something. (I apologize in advance.)

For those of you are in or around Washington, D.C. or just plan on visiting over the winter, how would you feel if the National Mall was adorned with a 45 foot tall statue of a naked woman? You may be in position to find out if a proposal currently being evaluated for the annual “Catharsis on the Mall” festival gets final approval. The statue (pictured above) originally appeared at Burning Man in 2015, but the artist would like to have her staring defiantly at the White House for four months. (Washington Post)

The statue looks submissive, not defiant.

We all need to chip in a build a 60 ft man to stand behind her with a whip and a dog collar to add balance.

In general I'm in favor of trim naked women. So no problem with this. But I have to say, it would be more appropriate for DC if they built a giant statue of a (clothed) man with his head up his ass.

You can't tell from the picture in the article, but if you click the WaPo link at the article, the video indicates they intend a DD sized chest.  You see, the point of the exhibit is to protest the "sexualizaton of women."  So there you go.

I've been known to wrap the bowl with Saran Wrap, then put the seat down, because I love my baby....
