Turkish police have confirmed the arrest of a suspect in murder of two Syrian pro-opposition activists in Istanbul earlier this month.

The man is believed to be a family member of Orouba and her daughter Halla Barakat, who were stabbed to death in their apartment on 22 September.

He was arrested in Bursa and detained by police, according to Turkish media.

So goes the narrative of darker skinned Arabs again; this was a tragedy. So, they suspect a family member of doing this? Turkey is a bit of the "Wild West" as far as being lawless, in parts at least, there are a number of these kinds of assassinations on record as having gone on there. Sad, I'm sure these were good people.
