Reckless President Tweeter Tweets Recklessly
« on: September 24, 2017, 06:35:15 pm »
Having a President Trump immediately after the disastrous two terms of Barack Obama was the absolute worst thing that could have happened to the United States.

Obama destabilized the entire nation with his Marxist class warfare hogwash, along with policies that weakened us at home and abroad.

What we needed was a stable, thoughtful, and experienced conservative hand to set the ship back on course.

That’s what we needed. What we got was the personification of voters’ rash, frustrated angst.

We got a walking meme, with all the subtle dignity of a fart joke, except not quite as intelligently thought out.

We got the kind of man who sets forest fires, then watches from a distance, just to see what happens.

That’s what Trump is doing with North Korea.

He’s not thinking about how his words might actually make allies around the world question his stability. He’s definitely not thinking about how he could be empowering enemies, who see the U.S. as now being led by an unreasonable, inexperienced loudmouth (or to paraphrase Kim Jong un – a scared dog barks the loudest).

Ann Coulter is getting company on the Dark Side which is exactly what the blonde diva does not want.

Susan Wright is getting all hysterical about the Trumpster as well.

I've really lost some respect for her.

Too many GOP voters saw Trump as the antidote to the Beltway, when what we really needed was an unabashed conservative like Ted Cruz.

Cruz's strategy was flawed, he should have gone after Trump from the start, instead of trying to be the last one in the race along with Trump. By then, Trump had too big a lead.

Cruz may have been too nice a guy (breathe, Donald, breathe) but I disagree with your assessment.

I blame it on a couple of things.  Huge name recognition going in for Trump, whereas Ted Cruz was a virtual unknown nationally.  Another is the early primaries that had 20 or so candidates competing.  Trump never won 50% in any of those but he did win the majority of the votes.

Trump had it sewed up early because of those two factors and because of intense loyalty among the supporters he did have.

I cannot respect her for this column.  It was an easy, facile take down of an easy target and a repetition of what has been said countless times.

She also mirrored the Ann Coulter quote ... never a good idea.

As for North Korea, that evil little dude is crazy.  I don't think Trump is gonna provoke him into doing something he didn't already have in what passes for a mind.

North Korea is a pitiful country so beaten down it is fair game for ruthless tyrants.  If it weren't for the innocent citizens, it would be a good place to nuke.

It would also be a good place for an assassination.  Can no one rid us of this horrible man?  But they might find someone just as horrible, though admittedly it would be hard.

Red State is just Never trump and Susan Wright has written outrageous things before that would have wanted to arm Mexican drug cartels though she was saying it was about gun control.

This really looks like an editorial; to be reading Red State prop; we'll see about Trump, I was for Cruz before but he's showing himself to be just another RINO.

Easy there, Tom.  I am wondering when you were for Cruz because I don't remember you ever making a favorable post about him.

And how is Cruz showing himself to be just another RINO.  I believe Cruz is one of the few who has remained staunchly conservative.

I found this to be a very rational and objective non-biased straight news piece about the President's UN Speech.  I've created extensive astrology and numerology forecasts from the dates and places of big event in President Trump's life, and according to the Bible, things are much worse than you think.  So when put in perspective Susan Wright's accusations that President Trump is a wild-eyed maniac hell-bent on the destruction of the world are in fact the truth,  and actually a rather mild way to present it.

Have you seen his tweets?

On the other hand, it is really hard for me to get worked up over pissing off NK and "Rocket Man."  I actually think you can't have too much "Rocket Man" in any speech and I wish President Trump had used it more.  I'm going to give President Trump a pass on this issue.

The UN speech isn't important when I think of the 8 years of promises of the GOP on Obamacare, and the two years President Trump promised repeal and replace...
When I think of the promise to lock up crooked Hitlery, the promise to drain the swamp, the promise to build a wall...
I'm not even a fan of the wall, but pretty sure I won't be a fan of Pelosi/Schumer border security.

well back to Susan Wright...she sounds bitter.

How is Cruz showing himself to be "just another RINO"?   Last I checked,  he seemed to be one of the few principled Republicans in office.

Wait... what?   Last I checked, you had morphed into a Trump supporter.  Wha happened?  Reality bite?  lolol

I had to go to the article to figure out who "Susan Wright" even is, and I feel soiled for having done so.  Please do us a favor and post the author's name with the original article?  Especially if that person is going to be a subject of posts?
