Rough Terrain & Eminent Domain Among Challenges to Border Wall

    September 21, 2017 Emily Larsen

(Emily Larsen, Liberty Headlines) Rough terrain, private property rights, and effective design are among the challenges of securing the US-Mexico border with a wall, identified in a new project by USA Today.
From USA Today’s border wall investigative project.

In the series of articles, interactive maps, and mini-documentaries, the newspaper explored the basic logistical issues of building the border wall that was strongly advocated for by President Trump. Crews flew the entire 2,000-mile length over the border with a helicopter, obtained federal records, and talked to ranchers, smugglers, and border patrol agents.

The Eminent Domain problem is why in Texas they are starting wall construction on the little bit of Federal Land there is on the border.

Trump Administration Preparing Texas Wildlife Refuge for First Border Wall Segment

If the levee wall is constructed, it will essentially destroy the refuge, a federal official told the Observer.

Shouldn't be too rough on what Trump has now admitted will be a transparent wall (i.e., invisible).

I am continually amazed to learn how we now deem activities "too hard."

We built railroads across this continent, interstate highways, canals, bridges, airports, etc.

But now a simple barrier is too hard, due to terrain and eminent domain?

These tasks are only "too hard," due to involvement of all powerful lawyers types for the most part.

They try to block pipelines, basically to disrupt progress.

It's amazin', ain't it?

That the country that put men on the moon (almost 50 years ago, no less!) cannot in this day and age build a simple wall?

Heck, they've been doing as much along freeways for years.

All this obfuscation is to discourage and deceive.
Do not be taken in by it.
