Trump to unveil additional sanctions on North Korea

President Trump plans to announce additional sanctions on North Korea on Thursday to pressure Pyongyang into abandoning its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

"We will be putting more sanctions on North Korea," Trump told reporters before meeting with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.

The announcement comes after U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told reporters late Wednesday night that the latest round of U.N. sanctions on North Korea have caused "fuel shortages" in the isolated country.

Trump is slated to meet with leaders from Japan and South Korea later Thursday, during which additional sanctions are likely to be discussed.

Trump keeps saying he's going to annihilate NK or words to that effect.  I just want to know when. 

To be fair, he's not the first president to threaten an enemy, then do nothing substantial.  And no, I don't want war with NK.  But I get tired of all this testosterone being flung around with no follow through.  If you really don't intend to actually do something, stop telling me you will.

What other sanctions could we put on them? Thats like giving Dennys one more health code violation, everything has already been flagged.

What they need is a really strong tweet or two. Maybe an entire hashtag.
