A quarter of girls show signs of depression at age 14

By Sally Robertson, BScSeptember 20, 2017

Almost a quarter of girls and one tenth of boys show signs of depression at age 14, say researchers from the University College London.

In a study of more than 10,000 young people looking at how many of them exhibited signs of depression, 24% of girls and 9% of boys seemed to be depressed at the age of 14.

I sympathize. Teenage years in public school were bad enough with all the catty competitive cesspool without the social meda Matrix they must live in today.

The mental pressure knowing that a single side glance could be posted and critiqued for literally the entire world to read must be like walking a minefield blindfolded.
