Federal employees in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) leaked a memo Tuesday detailing a one-hour training course for agency employees on the importance of preventing leaks.
Agency employees leaked to Politico a memo reminding employees that it is their responsibility to protect sensitive information. The memo also details aspects of a week-long anti-leaking training course.
“As federal government employees and federal contractors, we have a responsibility to properly protect this information from unauthorized disclosure,” wrote Donna J. Vizian, acting assistant administrator for EPA’s Office of Administration and Resources Management.
