Far-right party likened to Nazis to shake up German parliament
Reuters | Published — Monday 18 September 2017

FRANKFURT AN DER ODER: The first far-right party set to enter Germany’s parliament for more than a half a century says it will press for Chancellor Angela Merkel to be “severely punished” for opening the door to refugees and migrants.

The Alternative for Germany (AfD), which has also called for Germany’s immigration minister to be “disposed of” in Turkey where her parents come from, could become the third largest party with up to 12 percent of the vote on Sept. 24, polls show.

The euro right generally are fascists.

They certainly aren't 'right' in the sense of the American right.  Many of their issues border on Socialism with strong Nationalistic tendencies.  They want bigger nationalized healthcare, more government control of the media (dictate to promote 'German' culture listed as a priority). Big social safety nets.

About the only thing I can see there that is good is their tax policy.

Bingo. To find something truly similar to the American right you have to look at nations where English is their primary language. (The anglosphere)

Even with that, the American Right (aka Conservatives) are (were) very different. Ours is a unique system that values individual liberty over the State. Even in the 'anglosphere', other 'right' leaning parties and philosophies put the State first.

Sadly we've been moving that way here at a rapid tick.

Also true as our "conservative" newfound love of top down governance displays.

Except for those who want to use them perjoratively, the terms 'right' and 'conservative' are useless in a generic sense, as they are relative to the system wherein they are applied.
