Hillary Clinton: My own mistakes weren't enough to lose the election
by Anna Giaritelli | Sep 13, 2017, 8:35 AM

Hillary Clinton admitted Wednesday that she made mistakes during the 2016 election, but said those mistakes by themselves weren't enough to lose the election to Donald Trump, and said the media, sexism and other issues were the deciding factors.

"Did you make enough mistakes to lose the election without any of the other things you talk about?" NBC "Today" host Matt Lauer asked Clinton.

"I will say no, Matt," Clinton replied. "But this book has a lot of behind-the-scenes look at what it's like to run for president, particularly again as a woman. So it's not all the sad side or the disappointment that obviously came because we lost, and especially somewhat bitterly because we won the popular vote significantly."

Hillary couldn't even get a majority of the white women vote, supposedly the people with the most reasons to dislike Trump.
What does that say about her appeal?

I agree.  It probably took some combination of her mistakes, her personality, her history, her criminal history (but I repeat myself), her policies, and her husband.

The media was also complicit in covering up Hillary's support of radical leftist groups like the Black Panthers when she was in college. She was another Alinsky disciple just like Obama.
But obviously we will never be able to expect the media to cover politics fairly.  If it had been a Republican candidate supporting a violent, radical right wing group, the media would have been all over it.

My own mistakes weren't enough to lose the election

How can she "take full responsibility for her failure" and at the same time say "My own mistakes weren't enough to lose the election"? The 2nd statement says unequivocally that she bears no responsibility whatsoever for her loss. Of course the media will never point out the obvious contradiction to her.

Whatever, it's great to see her as the party's spokesperson again. I didn't think anyone could be worse than Obama, Pelosi, or Waters but she's leaving them in the dust...

Hillary Clinton ...said the media, sexism and other issues were the deciding factors.

Jeepers. Is anyone buying this?
Without the fawning liberal media and her last name (given to her from Monica Lewinski's sexist rapist boyfriend), Hillary Rodham would be a nobody.

Ah, she's right. All it took for her to lose was an opponent with a point spread that beat the fraud margin.

I think if she had done a spread ...it might have been a contest.
